Types of Denture

1. Complete denture:

A denture is a removable replacement for a whole set of teeth (complete dentures).

b. Partial Dentures:

A removable replacement for a few missing teeth can very well be addressed with a partial denture.

c. Immediate dentures:

Immediate dentures are those that are inserted directly after you have had teeth extracted. Either full or partial immediate dentures may be planned for the patient. There are many advantages to immediate denture placement such as no edentulous span, fastening the healing, protecting extraction wounds and patient need not to remain without teeth.

d. Overdenture:

An overdenture is a type of denture made over the teeth or dental implants. It is attached by specialized dental attachments that are secured in the roots or implants
